Many of us at one time of another can suffer from an acute or chronic neck or shoulder injury. Yoga, and particularly the Iyengar method, promotes healing from a physiological point of view and from the point of view of correcting alignment to strengthen weak areas and stretch the tight areas so re-injury does not occur.
